An HTML form is a section of a document that contains controls like text fields, radio buttons, checkboxes, submit buttons, file select boxes, etc.
If you want to collect some data from your site users or visitors you need HTML forms.
In simple words, HTML forms are used to collect information from site visitors and they will be processed or stored using backend applications or scripts like PHP, ASP, etc.
For example, using HTML forms you can collect your website visitors names, email id, addresses, mobile numbers, etc.
Below are some of the HTML 5 form tags.
|<form>||This tag defines an HTML form to enter inputs by user.|
|<input>||This tag defines an input control. it can be used in many ways depending on the type of attribute.|
|<textarea>||This tag defines multi-line input control.|
|<label>||This tag defines a label for many form elements.|
|<select>||This tag defines a drop-down list.|
|<button>||This tag defines a clickable button.|
|<option>||This tag defines an option in a drop-down list.|
